The Bishop’s Cleeve Tithe Barn is an excellent venue for your wedding. It offers a generous range of facilities, including a beautiful beamed Main Hall, fully equipped kitchen and well-provisioned licenced bar. It’s distinctive Grade II exterior and gardens provide for memorable wedding photographs.
The Main Hall, where you would hold your reception, is on the first floor. It has a sprung maple wood dance floor and its 20m x 9m size can accommodate 150 people or 120 sitting at tables. Tables and upholstered chairs are provided.
The whole barn can be booked for a wedding from Friday evening to Sunday morning. The other rooms can be booked for a smaller celebration. Full details are available by clicking on the facilities page for a list of room sizes and pictures of each room.
All enquiries should be addressed to the Booking Secretary.
To book the barn go to the How To Book tab where you will find links to the conditions of hire, health and safety and fees. To check dates, click the Availability tab, which gives you access to a calendar showing existing bookings. More on the Barn’s history can be seen on the History pages.

FLAMES, CANDLES AND SMOKE MACHINES
For health and safety and insurance reasons we do not allow the operation of smoke machines, live flames, candles, or tea lights, whether enclosed or not. Battery operated flickering tea lights are fine. Helium balloons must be properly anchored to prevent them escaping upwards.
All hirer’s rubbish must be removed from the building and gardens, including cigarette butts, and placed in the appropriate bins in the car park. Failure to do so may result in a fee being taken from the deposit.
There is plenty of car parking at the front and rear of the Tithe Barn.
