Bishops Cleeve Village Hall - The Tithe Barn

Run by Volunteers for the benefit of the community

Welcome to Bishops Cleeve Tithe Barn

The Tithe Barn is a Grade II listed Tudor building, an important part of Bishop's Cleeve's built heritage;

Bishop's Cleeve Village Hall is a registered charity #301465 that is held in, and is responsible for, the Tithe Barn.

Covid-19 News

From Monday, 19 July 2021, all Covid-19 restrictions will be lifted.

  • The Trustees will continue to ventilate the building in a variety of ways to change the air within the building.  This will in future include opening the window on the stairs of the new extension.
  • We shall continue to clean and disinfect all parts of the building in order to reduce the transmission by contact with surfaces, e.g. door handles.
  • The hand washing facilities at the Tithe Barn were improved to promote hand hygiene. These will continue.  Hand gel will continue to be available in the kitchens.
  • We strongly recommend the continued use of face coverings while moving around the communal areas of the barn.
  • We suggest that use of the NHS QR code on entry be continued. QR code posters are distributed around the Tithe Barn.
  • Anybody who is notified of an infectious contact should of course isolate themselves.

It is expected that the peak of this third wave of the virus will continue into August so our continued vigilance and precautions must continue.

Your support in this vital endeavour, is crucial to us re-opening the Tithe Barn on Monday and it remaining open!  Thank you.

Best wishes,

Peter Richmond

(Chairman of Trustees)
