Joyce's Crockery Hire offers a service for the Village and Community Halls They offer to hire out crockery to cater for up to 70 people with an after cleaning service.  Contact Emily Hicks on Emily Hicks or 07845 251632. Note she is based in Hereford and charges 20p per mile to the Tithe Barn.

 

 

Cafe No.9

Are now no longer doing outside catering, but they are open seven days a week from 8:30am to 4:30pm (Sundays from 10:00am to 3pm) and are just across the traffic island in Church Road, a super place for refreshments when you are setting up your party or clearing up on Sunday morning.

Oasis Events Ltd. If you wanted a more modern venue that 15th Century agricultural, for an additional cost you could have the Hall decorated as an Eastern Paradise or in 18th Century Roco style. If so, then you can contact Oasis Events Ltd.

NOTES TO CATERERS

We now have two kitchens;

A smaller ground floor kitchen with domestic hob and oven, fridge, urn and sink. The maximum size for entry into the ground floor kitchen is 700mm wide including gas entry pipes and door handles. If the trolley can be man handled through the external door from the front car park the maximum dimension is 1.0m. There is space and power for one heated trolley.

 

A first floor kitchen off the main hall, with serving hatch into the Main Hall, and which has domestic hob and oven, fridge, Lincat hot water dispenser, microwave and two sinks. There is space and power for two heated trolleys (2.4m). Trolleys can be no longer than 1.3m to get in the lift and no deeper than 8o0mm (including hinges and handles etc) to get through the first floor kitchen door.

 

The use of gas fired equipment is not allowed in the first floor kitchen, and its use in the ground floor kitchen must be negotiated for each hire and is at the discretion of the Trustees.

 

For equipment going only into the Main Hall the maximum width is set by the size of the lift of 900mm by 1.35m maximum.

 

For equipment brought up the fire escape from the rear car park into the Main Hall the maximum dimension is 1.05m, but the need to get round corners formed by the fires escape steps my reduce this figure. It is best to visit the site first.
